Hero Wars Wiki

In Hero Wars, the Guild War is also known by some as Clan Wars can be a bit confusing to a new player that's never been there before. This is a guide for the complete beginner. Here, we will go over some of the terminology, where it is found in the game and when you will have access to it. Also, what is possible once you find it.

AKA (Also known as) Clan Wars, by a few. When you reach level 30, and join a guild, you will be able to participate in Guild Wars depending upon the total number of teams in your guild, and their levels. If you do not have the required (10?) members, you can create your team of Heros, and when placed by the GM (Guild Master) or an officer, You should, at least, receive the minimum amount of participation points (#unconfirmed#). In the meantime, you should continue to develop your Heroes, and Titans, as the higher the level the better you will be able to defend or attack once you are able to participate in the battles.

  • First Steps as a member of a guild, level 40 or higher.
    • Once you reach level 40, and either have joined a guild, or have created your own guild, you will first gain access to Guild War, located in the Guild Section of the Game (Lower left corner of the main screen where you will see the guild banner, if you have one). To enable the Guild Master (GM) to use your team to participate in the Guild War, you will need to do the steps listed below. Afterward, let your GM know that you have created a Hero's team (defense only) and a Titan Team (defense only) and if there is room for you, it depends on the size of your guild, you will be able to participate in the Guild War Monday through Friday. The times are dependent upon which part of the world you are located, which is based on the server.

      • Click on the banner titled "Guild War" in the top right hand corner of the Guild map page. This will take you into the area where most or all of your guild activity will take place. This includes developing your Pets, Titans, the Dungeon and of course the Guild War.
      • After you select the Guild War banner, if it is available, you will have the option to pick your best Hero Team and Titan Team for Defense. Click on the green pencil icon for either Heros or Titans, and choose which Heros or titans you will use for Guild Wars. Note: Selecting a Hero and Titan team does not affect any other part of the game, they will still remain available.
      • The defense teams you selected will by placed into play by the GM or a General. This part of the game, for you, is handled by them. They will place your teams where they will best be able to support the defense of the city, you do not need to be concerned with this, unless you are made a General. You can read about what they will do below, or skip to the next Section, Battle day, where you can learn the basics of fighting in the war.
  • Your options as a GM in the Guild War
    • Signet section:
    • If you are Guild Master or General, you should see an option to "Plan tomorrow's Defense". After selecting which member will receive , selecting this button will allow to place yours, and other member's teams into a location within the Guild War city map. If there you have not chosen any Generals; this section will only apply to the GM (Guild Master), who will set up where your teams will be located for the defense.
    • As the GM, you also have the ability to assign the role of General or Officer. An Officer does not have any privileges when it comes to the Guild War. Only Generals, and they have the same ability as you when it comes to your duties in the war. Planning Defense and more specifically, planning the attack, see (Fandom section) for detailed information about Defensive and Offensive strategies, You can also check out videos are available on YouTube, and the internet. It is beyond the scope of this information to plan these activities. However, once you have decided what to do, information will be provided below, to explain how to make the moves needed.
    • Offense and Defense: What you can do, and how to do it. Depending on your guild size, you will want to choose your best players, both those with a Hero Team and a Titan team. Both of these will be available as a team chosen for defense by the guild member. Again, use their choice to give you an idea of their power of each type of team: Heroes or Titans. It's best to have the guild member put up their best team. There are two basic activities: Offense or Defense: For Defense, other than selecting locations, this is mostly a passive activity; and for Offense, on the days when you will fight a war, this will be where the real action takes place. Except for ties for last place, If it is a weekend, click on the Guild War you will only let you select Plan for Defense. With the exceptions of playoffs, more about that later, this section too is not available on weekends. Even Warriors and the servers need downtime and maintenance. :-)
      • Offense: An officer or Guild Master will be able select from the players in their guild which members they will choose to give Signets to. Players with Signets will be allowed to fight in Guild Wars. Depending on your guild size, you will need to choose your best players, both those with a Hero Team and a Titan team. While both of these will show up as the team chosen for defense by the guild member, during the actual battle the Guild member can choose any of the Heroes they have available before the actual fight or battle. In addition, before the battle, as a general or officer, you will be give the opportunity to assign individual Signet holders to an opposing team member's location to attack. Those locations will be chosen by the opposing team for defense,
        • Before the battle: Preparations must be in place for defense. Keep in mind, After the battle begins, the opposing team's, as well as your defending team's statistics and power will be locked and no additional changes can be made to upgrades an individual Hero, or Titan's power. The attacking team; however, will be able to continue to improve their team up to the moment the attacker choose to engage the enemy and participate in a battle.
        • During the Battle: An attacking Signet holder will be able to battle a maximum of twice in one day. So, choose your warrior's wisely. Any damage done to an opposing team, their defense, remains with that team does not change unless they are attacked by another of your guild members fighting that day. The defending team does not heal between battles. So, if the same or another member's attacking team loses their first or second battle, Be sure to assign, previously unassigned members, to any opposing team with remaining Health. From that new assignment, you will have an opportunity to clean up and defeat any undefeated opposing team that has any remaining Health. While the number of battles each of your members can fight is limited to two, the total number of attacking members is limited only by the number of available players who have any their two battles left.. Since there is a limited number of positions to assign, some members assigned Signets will still be available to "clean up" any team that was not defeated. Plan on it.
        • After the battle: Depending upon which server you are on, and your location in the world. Guild Wars will start and end at the specific times indicated on the Guild War clock. Be sure to know when this is; because the war starts and ends promptly, when the clock indicates. All Signets and Champions must be set before the battle begins, During the battle, assignments may be made, dropped, completed, changed or added. Improvements to individual Heroes and Titans on the attacking side can be made up to the moment one engages the enemy. But, after the battle ends, there's nothing left to do but, examine the fights for future strategies, and await the results, and awards.

Under development) Notes: How the game differs when you are able to have your first battle against an enemy:

Well, the guild didn't last long... Everyone, including me was fairly new... I'm in a different guild, though it was nice being GM for a while. As, I learn, I'll pass it on here till the article is finished. Then perhaps, we can find a home for it. 2021-06-12

Note from the page developer: This is a work In progress. As a beginner, I didn't and don't know a thing about doing the Guild Wars in Hero Wars. As I learn, I will add information to this page for beginners. Or other members can. I want to focus on the basics... How many members does one need to play Guild Wars in Hero Wars. Explain the layout of the map for defense, and explain basic parts of the map. Where do Hero Team's go and where do Titan team's go.What to expect when it's set up right; and one gets to play for the first time. Any anything else pertinent, as I learn, about playing Hero Wars Guild Wars or Clan Battles for the first time.
