Cosmic Battle Ban Phase

The 24-hours long Cosmis Battle Ban Phase precedes the Cosmic Battle. Per community poll all players can vote for those Heroes they would like to be banned from the Cosmic Battle.

Rules[]

Players are voting for one Hero from every role branch (Control, Healer, Mage, Marksman, Support, Tank, Warrior) they would like to be banned from the ”Cosmic Battle”. Meaning players can select up to 7 Heroes of 7 role branches.
Once the Ban phase is over, 10 Heroes (3 Heroes of the Mage role, 2 Heroes of the Tank role, and 1 Hero from each of the 5 remaining roles) with the most votes against them will be excluded from participating in the ”Cosmic Battle” — players will not be able to use them either in attacking or defending teams. If there is a drew between Heroes, one of them is selected by random choice.
The Hero ban system only applies to the "Cosmic Battle" event – players can continue to play with any Heroes in other modes.

Note: During the Ban Phase of the very first Cosmic Battle, players could select 5 Heroes of any role and the 10 Heroes with the most votes in total were banned (regardless of their roles).

4. Cosmic Battle (June 27-29, 2024)[]

An additional rule was implemented not allowing players to vote for the same Heroes again who were banned from the previous Cosmic Battle.

Note: Polaris was randomly chosen over Arachne as they both ended up with 24% of the votes. Fafnir was chosen over Sebastian (20% each). Aurora, having less votes than Mushy and Shroom, was chosen over Corvus (16% each).

Statistics[]

The only Heroes who have been banned from all three editions of the Cosmic Battle thus far are Dante, Helios and Iris. The newly added rule for the 4th Cosmic Battle would bring these "streaks" to an end.
