Special Events are events that are only available for a limited time – mostly 1-day, 3-days, or 7-days long – offering to complete quests and earn rewards.

Emerald Waterfalls(until 31 July 2023)
Biweekly 3 Day Events[]
These 5 events run for 3 days each, and in this order. Lord of the Arena starts again immediately after Energetic Warrior.

- Emerald x4 Sale (mostly lasting 3 days)
- Emerald x5 Sale (mostly 1 day only)
Hero Events
Hero Events usually occur if a Hero is released or reworked, they also can appear if new Skins are released.
They grant Hero Soul Stones of the promoted Heroes and various other resources.

Annual Seasonal Events
These seasonal events happen each year around a similar timeframe, and are quite large.
- Spring Rebirth! This is the smaller event of the 4, at the time of writing.
- Summer Festival
- Spooky Festival
- Winterfest Lasting a total of 2 weeks, this is the biggest event in the entire game. It is the only time when Winter Skins can be obtained and is also accompanied by the addition of a new Hero to the game.
Month Long Seasonal Events[]
These events usually last for 28 days (previously 30 days).
In July 2023, Nexters announced that from August 2023 onward, these Seasonal Events would always start on the 2nd day of each and every month and always last for 28 days; beginning with Eternal Summer Season 2. Minimum requirement for all players still is Team Level of 40 or higher. If a player joins a season after Day 2, they will automatically receive all the Season EXP and rewards from the quests that they have missed.
From now on, new players who reach Team Level 40 are always offered the "current" Season (instead of starting with Astral Season that was then followed by all the other "Previous Seasons"; see 2nd list below). [1]
In September 2023, instead of doing a regular Season, the format was changed to 4 Mini-Seasons (or Weekly Seasons). Each Mini-Season lasted for only 7 days and offered their own Gold Ticket. By purchasing all Gold Tickets a player would earn enough "Tools" to unlock a random Totem Fragment in the Forgotten Treasury by the end of the month. [2]

Previous Seasons[]
All of the following previous seasons were played in chronological order (from lowest to highest entry level), however, since the introduction of the new scheduling (see Section above) some of these seasons have become obsolete. For instance, Astral Season was every player's very first season until (or before) August 2023; when it was automatically unlocked by reaching Team Level-40.
