After a long wait, Nexters decided to add the advertised puzzles to the game.[1] From this day on players can claim additional rewards by collecting enough stars in the Campaign.

The available rewards are either Campaign Treasures (chest symbol) or Minigames (puzzle symbol) with a small story attached to them. Solving the Minigames rewards similar loot as the chests, some rewards also contain predefined Soul Stones of a specific Hero.

Currently, there are 9 Minigames available, some of them can be played online on the hwgame webpage.[2]

Story[]

The protagonist of all stories is Galahad.

Armed Reconnaissance[]

Artemis: This building id odd... There wasn't anything on this glade just a week ago.
Galahad: Huh... You wait here. I'll check it out.

*Minigame*

Galahad: I got caught in a trap. That was a close call. But I realized we found the Archdemon's outpost! I destroyed the tower and deprived the army of the Darkness of reinforcements! Not half bad, huh?
Artemis: Stop blowing your own trumpet, Galahad!

Fleeing the City[]

Artemis: Oh no! The city's on fire! What's going on here?
Galahad: The Archdemon's cronies want to avenge his defeat. We need to escape this infernal mess, but I don't know where to go.
Artemis: Hush! Listen... Is it just me, or is someone meowing out there?

*Minigame*

Galahad: This kitty isn't as simple as it looks. It showed us the enemy's next outpost and helped find the exit from the ravaged city. Should we keep it?
Artemis: I guess so... But we'll come back for it later. As for now, we need to hurry. I received a message that a Guardian went missing.

Treasury[]

Artemis: It's heart-wrenching to think our loyal Mojo has been captured by enemies.
Galahad: We'll find him, Artemis. I know we will! We'll search every nook and cranny, every single tower...
Artemis: Speaking of towers, one of them stands right before you.

*Minigame*

Galahad: I didn't find Mojo, but I definitely want to thank the orcs.
Artemis: What? Are you quite sane, partner?
Galahad: Leaving behind a written order to transport a certain prisoner to Hardan's Plateau was inconceivably stupid of them!
Artemis: Ah, I see now. Let's head to the plateau!

Lookout Tower[]

Galahad: Mojo the Guardian has been captured by orcs, and this tower blocks the only path to Hardan's Plateau. There are no doors to be seen, but maybe I just need a closer look... Anyway, I'll go ahead and do it!
Artemis: Be careful, Galahad! It's not like I needed to say that, though...

*Minigame*

Artemis: You've taken your sweet time!
Galahad: I found Mojo's tracks! The goblins were keeping him in a cage. They took him away a few hours ago, at the most. Let's go! We might reach them just in time!

Where's Mojo?[]

Galahad: The wicked orc Gro Bulgor has been defeated, and his camp looks deserted.
Artemis: That means it's high time we examined every nook and cranny here.
Galahad: You don't have to ask me twice!

*Minigame*

Galahad: Mission completed!
Artemis: Mojo! You're alive!
Mojo: The spirits told me you'd come for me. Mojo knew and awaited! Darkness was bad. Sun makes Mojo happy! Zaar bro-Khar!

Justified Risk[]

Artemis: So, whats brings you here, Mojo?
Mojo: Mission... Mojo the shaman must destroy poison, Nasty orcs spread poison! Nature is dying.
Artemis: So that's how the Deadlands got their name...
Galahad: I can see cisterns filled with black poison. Dibs on destroying them!

*Minigame*

Artemis: Come now, Galahad, you've made me worry!
Galahad: That's so sweet of you, my darling!
Mojo: Argh, my ears! Even mead flows less sweetly than your speeches. We need to go. Take care of what lies before us!

Hit Or Miss[]

Artemis: Goblins ahead!
Mojo: Mojo sees a tank full of poison, Angry are the spirits, for nature will suffer once more!
Galahad: Let's turn the enemies' own weapon against them!

*Minigame*

Artemis: The monsters have been punished!
Mojo: Mojo happy, So happy! And yet, it's no good rejoicing so early. Mojo hasn't caught them all.

In the Darkness[]

Artemis: It's so creepy here...
Mojo: Mojo sees ill at ease, too. This is our last target!
Galahad: Well then, time to have some fun!
Artemis: Is descending to the toxic dungeons of the Chaos Realm really your idea of fun?
Galahad: Naturally! Well now, off I go.

*Minigame*

Artemis: Wasn't it you who screamed in fear down there?
Galahad: Well, maybe just once. A nasty goblin gave me a scare. A tiny little scare, that's all.
Mojo: Jokes? Mojo is serious. Mojo and Artemis are leaving. An order has just arrived from the capital.
Galahad: What do I have to do?
Mojo: Find Aurora on the plains of the Split of Tribes.

A Maiden Saved[]

Galahad: So, where's Aurora? Have I come here for naught?
Aurora: Who's that? Galahad, is that you? Help me!
Galahad: Hang in there! I'll save you! I'm coming!

*Minigame*

Aurora: I only got distracted for a second, but it was enough to end up in this trap! So silly of me!
Galahad: Let that be a good lesson for both of us. Dangers untold lie ahead, and we must always be prepared to face them.
