The Tournament of the Elements is a cross-server tournament between teams of Titans and is located in the Titan Valley. It consists of 7 stages of multiple opponents that get stronger the higher you go.

Nexters tech support explained how the difficulty is measured, which explains why both new and experienced users can reach stage 6, and then kill only 2 enemies.

The matchmaking in the Tournament of the Elements is carried out in accordance with the power level of your 5 most powerful titans, so sometimes you will encounter situations that you will come across rivals with weak titans and powerful totems since the total power will match yours more or less (the number of totems is not taken into account during the matchmaking, but the power they add to your team is).

A possible strategy is to level up only 1 titan or super titan and only his artifact seal, so that he remains above average, giving him a strong advantage. When the enemies are stronger than the player's average titan, his team's weapon artifacts and defensive artifacts will not work, even though their power might increase the difficulty of the enemies. On the other hand, players need well balanced teams for guild wars.

Battles[]

Each battle consists of two rounds:

  • Attack round (250 points): Manual controlled and can be attempted unlimited times until beaten
  • Defense round (50 points): Auto controlled, one time for each opponent (after the first completed attack round)

The round type affects how the Elemental Armor affects the Titans, on the defending side it protects against any element otherwise only against damage from the vulnerable element.

Attacking[]

Attacking and damaging earns various rewards:

  • Damaging opponents in either round rewards Elemental Tournament Points, these can be used in the Tournament Chest to receive Elemental Tournament Coins
  • Defeating an opponent reward Essence of the Elements
  • Clearing a stage by winning all attack rounds rewards additional Elemental Tournament Coins and allows you to raid this stage the next time (the results of the defense round won't affect the stage progression)

Defense Team[]

The defense team needs to be set in order to start participating, after that it can be changed once per stage before attacking. The strength of the defense teams is frozen at the Guild Game Day reset until the next day.

Stages[]

There are a total of 7 stages with a varying amount of opponents:

  • Stage 1 - 5 opponents
  • Stage 2 - 7 opponents
  • Stage 3+ - 9 opponents

Clearing a stage allows you to raid it next time and rewards 200 Elemental Tournament Coins.

Elemental Lords[]

At stage 7 the three Element Lords await you: Water Lord, Fire Lord, Earth Lord, awarding the Elemental Lord Frame if beaten.

At the end of the week, every player receives rewards according to their ranking in the tournament. The ranking is determined by the total Elemental Tournament Points of the week. If two or more players have the same amount of points, the player with the higher overall titan power is awarded the higher rank.

In addition, all guild members receive a certain amount of coins for each of their top-ranked players (if any).

The Daily Quests for the tournament can be completed normally on five days of the week, and because the tournament resets with the Guild Game Day and the Daily Quests with the Personal Game Day it is possible to get an extra day of the Daily Tournament quests (similar to extra day on events)
