Guild War (GW) is held from Monday to Friday, and promotion and relegation matches are held on Saturday. When preparing for war, each member of the Guild selects the teams of Heroes and Titans that will participate in the defense. The Guild Master has to distribute Champion Signet to Guild members, these can participate in the war. Each Guild can have up to 15 Champions (20 champions in the Gold League).
Gameplay[]
Defense[]
After the Guild Master selected all Champions, he or she has to place them on unoccupied positions on the war map (Champions can leave and join positions themself if desired). When the war begins, the strength and positions of the defenders will be fixed until the next war, every change to Champion Signets, teams, positions, and fortifications won't take effect.
The Health and Energy of defending teams are saved during the war. If healers are present on the defending team, the average health of the defending team may be higher after the battle than before.
Offense[]
All players see all enemy teams and can attack any enemy team on available fortification if they have attempts remaining. Each Champion can attack up to 2 times during the war. The goal is to earn more Victory Points than the enemy Guild, they are given for:
- Damaging enemy teams, all points if defeated. Partial points if not defeated, based on the average health of the enemy team after the battle.
- Capturing an enemy fortification (if all teams are defeated) to receive the "Capture Bonus".
If the position in a fortification is empty it is considered "defeated", thus giving Victory Points to the attacking team.
The attacker plays the battles in manual mode and starts them with full Health and no Energy.
Note: If healers are present on the defending team, the average health of the defending team may be higher after the battle than before, resulting in zero additional victory points to the attacker. This is true even if one or more of the defending team has been killed during the battle.
Fortifications[]
In all leagues, 15 Hero and 15 Titan teams are needed to defend all the fortifications except for the Gold League, in which 20 Hero and 20 Titan teams are needed.
Fortification | Type | Teams | Teams in GL |
Capture Bonus |
---|---|---|---|---|
Barracks | Hero | 2 | 3 | 40 |
Mage Academy | Hero | 2 | 3 | 40 |
Lighthouse | Hero | 2 | 3 | 40 |
Bridge | Titan | 3 | 4 | 60 |
Foundry | Hero | 3 | 4 | 60 |
Bastion of Ice | Titan | 3 | 4 | 60 |
Gates of Nature | Titan | 3 | 4 | 60 |
Bastion of Fire | Titan | 3 | 4 | 60 |
Spring of Elements | Titan | 3 | 4 | 60 |
Citadel | Hero | 6 | 7 | 120 |
Progression on the Map[]
Not all fortifications are eligible for the attack right away. At first, you can attack the Mage Academy, Barracks, Lighthouse, and Bridge.
After beating all 3 defending teams on the Bridge, the second tier of fortifications is unlocked: Foundry, Bastion of Fire, Gates of Nature, Bastion of Ice, and Spring of Elements.
When you beat all the defenders in at least one of the 3 fortifications in the center – either Bastion of Fire, Gates of Nature, or Bastion of Ice – you will be able to advance to the Citadel, which is the fortification that awards the most points.
Results[]
When the war is over the rating is updated and the Guilds receive Guild War Trophies, depending on if the war was won, lost, or ended in a draw.
At the end of a week (Monday - Friday), Guilds will receive additional Guild War Trophies depending on their rating.
Guild War Trophies[]
Guild War Trophies are earned by competing in Guild Wars, they are awarded depending on the league:
- Gold League: Gold Guild War Trophies
- Silver League: Silver Guild War Trophies
- Bronze and Qualifying League: Bronze Guild War Trophies
Trophies are awarded for:
- Guild War reward, which is given every day even to those who aren't Champions (win, draw or lose) - Champions, Guild members that participated in the war, receive more Trophies
- Guild War Ranking reward at the end of the week
Trophies can be exchanged for different valuable items and skins in the Guild War Shop or used to evolve Elemental Spirits.
Leagues and Matchmaking[]
There are 4 leagues in the game: Gold, Silver, Bronze, and the Qualifying League. All new Guilds are automatically placed in the Qualifying League on the next day after creation. Matching systems in the war work like this:
Qualifying League[]
- The Guilds are matched by team level of members
- Victory Points are multiplied by the average team level of Guild members
- At the end of the week, 6 best Guilds can be promoted to the Bronze League by performing promotional battles
Other leagues[]
Matching is arranged by the Guild's rating and total Victory Points earned for the Week.
Gold is a randomly seeded and random order Round-Robin (seeding happens at some unknown point between the end of the promotion match on Saturday, and the first match on Monday), as a result the only match that is absolutely known is that of Friday due to process of elimination)
Promotion and relegation matches[]
These matches are played on Saturday between the best Guilds of the lower league and the worst Guilds in the higher league. They face each other in reverse order and the amount of matches depends on the league:
- Qualifying -> Bronze - 6 matches - 1st vs 30th - 2nd vs 29th - 3rd vs 28th - 4th vs 27th - 5th vs 26th - 6th vs 25th
- Bronze -> Silver - 4 matches - 1st vs 10th - 2nd vs 9th - 3rd vs 8th - 4th vs 7th
- Silver -> Gold - 3 matches - 1st vs 6th - 2nd vs 5th - 3rd vs 4th
- NOTE: The promotion match will be contested using 30 defensive positions for each side, however the Gold League guild will get to chose from their 40 possible attacks, which 30 to make.
If the Guild from the lower league wins the match they will start the following week at the bottom of the higher league.
Guild War Lock (Gold League)[]
If a member or a Champion of the Gold League Guild leaves the Guild and joins another guild (regardless of league), he or she will have a temporary lock, preventing them from becoming Champion in the new Guild and from participating in the Guild War till the end of the current week (i.e. till Sunday or Saturday, if the Guild doesn't take part in the Promotional battle). The same rule applies if this member transfers to another server. However, if the player returns to the initial Gold League Guild, he or she will be able to resume participating in the war during the same week.
Time Limited Event (Ghost Bridge)[]
This Is prelonged for 6 months
This is Only For Mobile , Ghost Bridge gives you the opportunity to unlock an alternative way to get to the Bastions by bypassing the Bridge. It's very simple - you need to capture the Mage Academy, the Barracks, and the Lighthouse, and then a passage opens up, allowing you to bypass the Bridge and attack the fortifications behind it.
When you capture these buildings, special visual markings will appear (check the screenshot below), and Ghost Bridge will start to appear between the two levels of the map.
once the Mage Academy, Barracks, and the Lighthouse have been captured, Ghost Bridge will be completed, and an alternate path to capture other fortifications will open.
