Artifacts

Artifacts become available for use on Team Level 20 through the Airship. Heroes have 3 Artifacts they can upgrade: One Weapon, Book, and Ring. Each rank and level will increase the Artifacts Stats.

The Weapon is available at Hero Level 20
The Book is available at Hero Level 25
The Ring is available at Hero Level 30. The ring always matches the main stat of the hero

The Artifact Book and Ring are passive additions to the Hero's Stats but the Artifact Weapon grants a teamwide bonus if the Hero activates its white skill.

Similar to Heroes each Artifact has an Artifact Evolution Rank and Artifact Level.

Artifact Evolution

The Artifact Evolution Rank can be increased with the Artifact Fragments and Chaos Cores. Additionally, the Weapon Artifact activation chance gets increased.

Artifact Fragments

Artifact Fragments can be found in Expeditions, and Special Events, or bought from the Artifact Merchant with Artifact Coins.

Chaos Cores

Chaos Cores are used to evolve Artifacts, they can be obtained in Valkyrie's Favor Expeditions, Artifact Chests, or Special Events, they also can be bought in the Elemental Tournament Shop.

Artifact Level

The Artifact Level can be increased with the appropriate type Artifact Resources.

Artifact Resources

Artifact Resources are used to level up Artifacts, they can be found in Expeditions, Artifact Chest, and Special Events.

Each Artifact type needs a different resource (image rows):

The Weapon Artifact needs Artifact Essences
The Book Artifact needs Artifact Scroll
The Ring Artifact needs Artifact Metals

The type of resource that the Artifact needs depends on its level (image columns):

Artifact Level 1-25 - "Normal" (they have no prefix) / White resources
Artifact Level 26-50 - Uncommon / Green resources
Artifact Level 51-70 - Rare / Blue resources
Artifact Level 71-85 - Superior / Violet resources
Artifact Level 86-100 - Flawless / Orange resources

Artifact Resource Chests

Artifact Resource Chests can be found in Special Events and drop Artifact Resources:

Artifact Essence Chest - Contains all types of Artifact Essences
Artifact Scroll Chest - Contains all types of Artifact Scrolls
Artifact Metal Chest - Contains all types of Artifact Metals
Flawless Artifact Chest - Contains flawless Artifact Resources (choosable, 5 fragments per chest)

Resouce Exchange (Browser Version)

The Resouce Exchange, accessible by clicking on the Artifact Resource icon in the Artifact Level box or by clicking the "Upgrade Level" button if not enough resources are available for the next level.

The Exchange allows downgrading resources:

Alchemist's Folio increases Armor penetration by 5 to 10680 and Physical attack by 1 to 3561
Book of Illusions increases Dodge by 1 to 2967 and Health by 27 to 53394
Defender's Covenant increases Armor and Magic defense by 4 to 8010
Manuscript of the Void increases Magic penetration by 5 to 10680 and Magic attack by 2 to 5340
Tome of Arcane Knowledge increases Magic attack by 5 to 10680 and Health by 27 to 53394
Warrior's Code increases Crit hit chance by 1 to 2967 and Physical attack by 1 to 3561
Ring of Intelligence/Agility/Strength increases the stat by 1 to 3990

Focus on increasing the activation chance of the Weapon for your core group before leveling up stats
