The Artifact Chest can be opened by using Artifact Chest Keys or Emeralds. Each opening increases the chests experience, upon leveling up the player earns Artifact Coins and a free Artifact Chest Key, additionally all Guild members receive a free Artifact Chest Key. Higher levels open up additional Artifact Resources and increase their chances.
Artifact Chest Key[]
Artifact Chest Keys can be obtained by completing Daily Quests, leveling up the Artifact Chest, and from Guild members leveling up their chests. Additional keys can be obtained through Valkyrie's Favor.
Artifact Chest Loot[]
The chest can drop Artifact Fragments and Artifact Resources (type depending on chest level), and Chaos Cores. The Grand Prize is 100,000 Artifact Coins and 100 Chaos Cores. For reaching the next chest level, players receive a certain amount of Artifact Coins and 1 additional Artifact Chest Key. In addition, every guildmate receives 1 additional Artifact Chest Key as well.

Tips[]
- Save your Artifact Keys until you join a guild at level 30 to help your guild
- Save 200 Keys for the Winterfest event Winter Tale
- Save 150 Keys for the Valkyrie's Artifacts event
- If you want to save time, then use 10 Keys at a time
Until November 2023, the Legacy of the Great Ones special event also required 12 Keys each time, however, since then the event has been changed into a "Emerald Coins" (of "Event Points") event and finishing the Artifact Chest quest now requires up to (opening) 500 Chests which in theory equal 500 Keys which cannot be collected in timely fashion between two occurrences of the event.
