In the Guild Raid, all guild members participate in one mode to beat the boss. During the first phase from Monday to Thursday, each player can collect Valor Emblems (to buy buffs) and Guild Morale (to boost damage in boss fights). On the weekend, from Friday to Sunday, all guild members fight a boss with a shared health bar.

Asgard & Guild Raid — New Game Mode Trailer - Hero Wars

This new game mode is for Guilds and will take the form of weekly activity. In Asgard, you and each member of your guild will be able to challenge new enemies, contribute to the overall Guild’s progress toward defeating the boss and receive great rewards!

There are two phases in the weekly battles:

  • Monday to Thursday, the first phase to fight minions
  • Friday to Sunday, the second phase to take on a boss.

Defeating the minions is just as important as defeating the boss — this way, you will earn valuable resources and receive a boost for the entire Guild to ease the boss battle for yourself and your guildmates.

But do not worry, these battles will not take too much of your time: there is no need to participate in them every day — you can carry out battles on the last day of each phase.

Can anyone take part in this game mode?[]

Yes! All Guild members at Team Level 65 or higher will be able to participate in battles and contribute to the guild’s progress!

In this game mode, you and each guild member will battle enemies on their own, using heroes and pets. Also, you will not have to wait for the attack of your guildmates — participate when it’s convenient for you. But your fights will contribute to your guild’s progress toward defeating the boss who has a shared health bar for you and your guildmates. Also, by defeating the minions, you can temporarily strengthen your and your guildmates' heroes for the boss fight. If your guild manages to defeat the boss, then everyone will get an increased reward!

The level of the boss, and therefore its difficulty, will be the same for the entire guild, but it can be chosen by the guild master and generals. But, of course, the higher the level is, the better the rewards will be. And while we’re at it, let’s talk more about the rewards!

What do I get for participating in battles?[]

You will be able to get new resources as a reward for defeating minions, for dealing your share of damage, and for the Guild's victory over the boss.

The main feature that will require new resources is Heroes' Ascension. It's a new progression system that will provide an opportunity to increase heroes' stats. In addition to that, Heroes' Ascension will allow you to improve certain skills of several heroes.

For example, leveling up Thea's Ascension will allow to improve her Healing Beam and Solar Sanctuary — her skills will not only heal but also additionally protect allies.

Besides strengthening individual heroes, it will be possible to increase stats of all your heroes with a certain role (tank, healer, etc.). All the boosts that heroes get through Heroes' Ascension will be applied in all Hero Wars game modes!

Where will I find the boss and minion battles?[]

The battles with the boss and his minions will be called the Guild Raid and will be available in Asgard at Team Level 65 or higher. The entrance to Asgard will appear in the Celestial City.

By the way, when this huge update comes, the Celestial City itself will look a little different: Titans, Circle of Summoning, Dungeon, Heart of Power, and the Titan Soul Shop will be located on a separate Guild Island, so it will be easier to get into different game modes!

Why do I need to fight minions?[]

Defeating minions is one of the ways to get resources for Ascension. Additionally, minion battles will be a crucial step in preparing for a boss fight.

For defeating minions, you will earn Valor Emblems and increase Guild Morale. It's a great chance to power up both your own and your guildmates' teams until the end of the week:

  • For Valor Emblems, you can buy buffs for your team from the merchant. These buffs will only affect your team and boost it only in the Guild Raid against the boss and the minions. Besides Valor Emblems, you can purchase some buffs for Gold — that might come in handy if you've got plenty of it! And here's other good news: buffs can be purchased on any day, even during the boss fight phase from Friday to Sunday.
  • Valor Emblems earned by each guildmate will increase Guild Morale — to boost damage of each guildmate to the boss.
  • At the end of each week, both Guild Morale and Valor Emblems will be reset.

Minion squads will appear gradually over four days (from Monday to Thursday), so you can fight them every day or wait until the last day of the phase to defeat them all at once!

For minion battles, you will get attack attempts, and their number will be equal to the number of minion squads: if there are 9 minion squads, then exactly 9 attack attempts are given. You cannot buy additional attempts, so be careful and battle each minion squad wisely!

What happens during the second phase with the boss fight?[]

The second phase for the boss fight begins on Friday and lasts through Sunday. Minions are not available at that moment, so you will not be able to further increase Guild Morale and spend the remaining attack attempts to defeat minions.

In total, each guild member will have 5 attempts to attack the boss. However, you can only use each hero once, while each fight requires you to have 5 heroes on your team! Try to use all attempts to help your Guild defeat the boss! A quick reminder from the first article: the boss has a shared health bar, although each guild member will have to battle individually.

During the week, your Guild Master, generals, and officers can choose the boss level for the next week. If no one chooses the boss level, then the last defeated boss level will be automatically selected. By the way, the boss level also affects the difficulty of the first phase with minions: their level will be less or the same as that of the boss.

You can increase the difficulty of the boss gradually every week, and you cannot immediately select the maximum difficulty: for example, you need to defeat a level 75 boss in order to unlock a level 85 boss. And the higher the level, the more rewards for the victory each member of the Guild will receive.

If a boss is defeated during a battle and there is still time left, the battle continues against the next higher-levelled boss. If the level-160 boss is defeated the battle still continues against another level-160 boss with a full health bar again thus the level-160 boss can be defeated multiple times in one weekend. Each guild member will also receive multiple level-160 rewards.

Guild Raids[]

The current Guild Raid is called the Cradle of the Stars, the boss is Osh the Eternal Keeper.

Cradle of the Stars[]

Nebula's story has been long known in Dominion, and it seemed that HE would no longer be found. But soon HE, the creator of all things, will be heard again. The one who disappeared from the Cradle of Beginnings will be found and will need your help! (you can read Nebula's story on her page)

Osh the Eternal Keeper- Story - Hero Wars

My fellow Guardians! Thank you for answering my call. We must act quickly, but before we depart, you must know what we're dealing with.

To uphold its ever-shifting balance, our universe gives birth to gods. Such as Osh the Eternal Keeper, the embodiment of creation and destruction, an infant deity destined for deeds both beautiful and terrible.

Every child needs a mentor, and gods are no exception. Judge and I were the first to greet the newborn in our universe. Shortly after, we were joined by Merida, Rah-Ozu, and Naos. All five of us vowed to raise Osh and prepare him for the times he will be needed the most.

Though bound by the same oath, we soon realized how differently we saw our purposes. Judge and I believed that the young god must be isolated from the Universe until he is ready. But our... allies wanted Osh to travel the Universe freely and use it as his playground. The possibility of countless tragedies of cosmic proportions were of no concern to them, so long as they remained his holy advisors.

Back then I managed to convince them... or so I thought. The Eternal Keeper had so much to learn, in so little time. For years I've been teaching the young god about the world that's waiting for him. But my strict mentorship became too much of a burden for a curious child. One day the young deity just... vanished, eager to explore the Universe on his own. I failed him and put us all in grave danger.

All five of us scattered throughout the Universe, trying to find the infant god. We were desperate. How can you possibly catch up with a cosmic being that doesn't want to be found?..

As it turned out, the child's curiosity led him to Asgard, an ancient city of gods. There he was finally found by Merida, Rah-Ozu, and Naos. The remaining citizens of Asgard began to worship the Eternal Keeper as their new god, while his former mentors proclaimed themselves as his holy disciples. Glory, reverence, power... This is what my compatriots had always desired. Now that they had gotten it, they could never allow it to slip away again.

The young god was betrayed by his own teachers. Merida lulled the infant god into a deep slumber. Rah-Ozu locked him inside an impenetrable cage. And Naos made sure I wouldn't be able to sense his cries for help. Thus, the Eternal Keeper became a prisoner to his dreams, while the usurpers came to power and have been ruling Asgard ever since.

But those fools are oblivious to the real extent of their betrayal. The Harbinger is still clawing its way to our reality, leaving unhealing wounds upon the fabric of existence itself. These wounds turn the God's dreams into horrific nightmares. Nightmares that this poor child cannot awake from... I can't imagine WHAT he might become after enduring such torture!

Guardians, we must free Osh from this unending horror! Waste no time... and pray it's not too late.

Enemies[]

With the new game mode, new Enemies were added to the game, although some of them are reskins, a new minion called the Starfall Herald‎ and four new bosses were added with the Cradle of the Stars map.

Difficulty[]

The difficulty selected by the Guild Master/General/Officer will determine the difficulty for the phase 1 fights, the potential rewards from the phase 1 fights, and the starting difficulty of the Boss in Phase 2.

The difficulty of the Guild Raid week can be selected before the end of the previous week by the Guild Master/General/Officer of the guild (the change will be indicated in the Guild Log), the default difficulty will be the last Guild Raid Boss difficulty available (if your guild has defeated up to and including the level 105 boss, the default difficulty will be 115). Minimum 65, and maximum 150. If your guild desires to have a difficulty less then the highest available to the guild then it must be changed manually by the Guild Master/General/Officer each week that it is desired to be at a lower difficulty (if you guild has defeated up to and including the level 105 boss, each week the Guild Raid difficulty will default to 115 unless it is manually changed before the start of the week in question)

Rewards[]

Minions (Monday to Thursday)[]

The rewards for phase 1 fights are only partially set based on difficulty. The amount of Valor/Moral, Star Mana, and standard Crystals are set, but the amount of all other resources are semi-random on an increasing sliding scale based on difficulty selected (for example at Guild Raid level 85 you only are gauranteed 10% of the shown Radient Crystals, and any more will be random).
